Wow! Pizza Birria Tacos! Is it better than Quesa Birria tacos?

In this episode I visit Lucy’s Mexican restaurant located 654 Shiloh Pike, Bridgeton, NJ 08302. This Mexican restaurant specializes in your traditional Mexican cuisine; tacos, burritos, tortas (Mexican sandwich) etc... They claimed to be the first east coast restaurant to have brought over the west coast style Birria tacos with consome (beef broth). As I was talking to the owner’s daughter she mentioned they also do a “pizza birria” which instantly got my attention. The pizza birria uses 3 freshly pressed tortillas and is topped off with cheese, birria, onions and cilantro. Afterwards it’s doused with some broth and stacked. It kind of reminded me of a quesadilla in a way but the flavor was out of this world. I normally would choose a birria taco but this pizza birria was a new favorite of mines. It had lots of cheese and beef and was an absolute joy to eat. The quesabirra taco was delicious as well but that pizza birria was on a new level. The other items I tried were the shrimp tacos , torts (Mexican sandwich) and horchata. To quite simply put it you could not go wrong with either of those. Every meal was super affordable and you get a lot of bang for your buck. I highly recommend this place to alll foodies.
