The first destination of my international winter flight was not operating during that day. Earlier however, I already obtained permission to land and take off outside of operational hours, which I had to include in my flight plan (RMK/), because there was also a NOTAM for this period, listing all air traffic, ground handling and rescue services as unavailable, while the aerodrome was not closed. Nevertheless, I performed the approach and departure procedures in line with the VFR entry and exit points (BOJNA, BRADLO). The weather was CAVOK, with a medium-level cloud layer due to a warm front. (METAR LZPP 301030Z 24003KT CAVOK 00/M05 Q1037=). I did not shut down on the abandoned apron due to our difficulties to start in the morning and the early sunset time. We were not completely alone though: a Slovak training aircraft performed a low pass over the runway.
