In this episode, I talk about why I'm Switching From my $700 MSR HubbaHubba NX to a $140 Naturehike Cloud Up 1. The short answer is that I'm broke, but the longer answer is that the Naturehike Cloud Up 1 represents a huge bargain. To get to that answer, I spend some time talking about the problems my HubbaHubba has, and some of the problems that it's had over it's life(mainly seam seal failure and broken poles). This video sort of functions as a long term review of the MSR HubbaHubba NX, but it's also a bit of a short term review of the Cloud Up 1, one where I compare the two tents together. I compare some of the similarities between the two, and show some reasons why one costs more than the other. I also spray it with water. I did use this tent for 4 night in the backcountry 2 a week ago, so I do have a few opinions of the Cloud Up 1 in the field. My biggest gripe is that the front door access isn't ideal because you have to enter right over your pillow. I tracked a bunch of sand onto my pillow, imagine if it was raining. Overall, I'm super happy with my purchase, and I think it's hard to pass up on that much value! I will be using this tent a bunch more coming up on this channel, so if you are interested in seeing how well it does, please like and subscribe.
