This simple breathwork practice helps support a calm mind, gentle heart, and grounded and centered body. #breathwork #pranayama #beginnerfriendly #uplyftwellness Class Summary In this simple 10 minute breathwork practice, you will find four breathing exercises: Equal Breathing, Triangle Breathing 1 & 2, and Box Breathing. Each of these breathing exercises are guided using a four count inhale, exhale, and retention. (Equal Breathing also known as Sama Vritti is done by inhaling and exhaling in equal lengths. Triangle Breathing 1 is done by inhaling, pausing to hold the breath, and exhaling. Triangle Breathing 2 is done by inhaling, exhaling, and pausing to hold the breath. Box Breathing is done by inhaling, pausing to hold the breath, exhaling, and pausing to hold the breath.) We need space to deeply listen and be heard. We need spaces of safety. We need spaces to create healing, peace, and love. What I feel we need most in the world right now is space.
