Thank you for watching, and please consider supporting this project and becoming part of this community. This summer cruising was an incredible experience, and the start of the end of my trip was first attending Victoria's Classic Boat Festival in Victoria Harbour, British Columbia. In this episode, I run through some of the highlights of the trip, and why I took a bit of a hiatus from YouTube (sorry!), but am back to finish out this series and begin getting into some boat projects that I am working on over the winter. This video highlights some of the people I met at the festival who share a connection with the boat from decades ago, including a special boat trip across the Straight of Georgia with Phil Little, who was the engineer on the boat in 1959-1961. I also reunite with Tally Ho! which is an absolutely gorgeous 58' gaff-rigged cutter fresh out of a 7-year restoration project in Port Townsend, WA. We spent the first half of our respective summer cruises together, which served as my favorite part of the trip. It was fun to meet up with them again, and to share a few days together at at the festivals. This coming year, I am really trying hard to raise money for ongoing restoration projects, and am sharing a few ways that you can contribute if you enjoy these videos or would like to see some ongoing work performed on Argonaut II.
