✨Paryushan is one of the most significant festivals in Jainism, focusing on spiritual purification, self-discipline, and reflection. Celebrated by both the Svetambara and Digambara sects of Jainism, it emphasizes non-violence, truth, and forgiveness.💕💝🙏🏻 — Ingredient required: Full fat milk Curd Phatkari (Alum) Turmeric powder Dry Mango Powder Cumin seeds Red Chilli Powder Chickpea flour Salt Dry Fenugreek Leaves Pav Bhaji Masala/Garam Masala Oil Ghee Asafoetida Malai/Fresh Cream Soaked dry geen peas Start by boiling Full Fat Milk. Once it boils, add curd to it. If you prefer not to use curd, you can use Phatkari (Alum) instead. When the milk begins to ferment, squeeze it well to form paneer. In a Kadhai, heat some oil and ghee. Add cumin seeds, dry fenugreek leaves, and chickpea flour. The chickpea flour will thicken the gravy and give it a nice color. Next, add red chili powder, turmeric powder, pav bhaji masala or garam masala, and a little water. Mix in a pinch of asafoetida and cook until the oil separates. Add the soaked dry green peas and mix well. Pour in hot water to achieve a thick gravy texture. Once it starts to boil, add malai (fresh cream) and dry mango powder. While the gravy cooks, cut the paneer into square pieces. Add salt to taste, then mix in the paneer cubes. And there you have it—your quick, delicious Paryushan Friendly Mattta Paneer Sabji!
