Fallout 4 Survival Mode — Spectacle Island, Mirelurks, and “Why won’t this clear?” Hello everybody—my name is Happy, and welcome back to my Fallout 4 Survival Mode full playthrough. We start out at County Crossing getting our bearings and lining up the next batch of objectives as I keep trying to thread the needle between Brotherhood of Steel and the Railroad (without accidentally stumbling into anything I’m not ready for yet—looking at you, Bunker Hill). Episode highlights Quest planning + logistics: I mark out the hospital super mutant job, Railroad priorities, and a quick stop past The Castle to handle settlement housekeeping. First-time Spectacle Island expedition: I head out to Spectacle Island completely blind—no idea what it is, what lives there, or why it immediately feels like a trap. Mirelurk chaos on arrival: we get hit hard early, I eat an infection, and Dogmeat earns his keep (again). The “clear the island” problem: the game does that classic thing where it tells you to clear a place… and refuses to clarify what you’re missing. Solution found: I track down the signal tower / generator checklist, flip the switch, and—yep—turn it into a Mirelurk dinner bell so we can finally finish the clear. Settlement setup, Survival-style: once the island is ours, I start dropping the essentials: beds (a lot of beds) basic power defenses “good enough for now” a starter food/water plan Supply lines + staffing: I run a supply line to Spectacle Island and shuffle settlers so it’s functional without wrecking my food balance back home. Back to business: we pivot to the hospital job, clear out super mutants (again—pretty sure I’d already done this before the rollback), and then return to The Slog to turn in and reset for the next episode. Bonus side hook: we pick up the Giddyup Buttercup repair request, but I’m not prioritizing that trek into the “death trap” end of the Commonwealth yet. Where we stand by the end Spectacle Island secured and converted into a workable early settlement (beds/power/defense/food started) Super mutant task completed and turned in at The Slog Next steps lined up: more Railroad work (reporting back, setting up additional ops), continued avoidance of Bunker Hill for now, and pushing the main to-do list forward without overextending Original History Content (coming soon): / @happyshistory History Reactions: / @happys_history_reactions Gaming Channel: / @happy_gaming_channel If you enjoyed the episode, like/subscribe so you don’t miss the next one. #Fallout4 #SurvivalMode #SettlementBuilding #LetsPlay
