OVERVIEW: In a profession built on holding space for others, mindfulness often becomes an abstract ideal, something we encourage OTHERS to do instead of a lived practice. This interactive workshop is designed for health professionals who feel overwhelmed, distracted, or disconnected. We’ll explore three levels of awareness; from scattered surface thinking to intuitive presence, and uncover why we often avoid the here-and-now. You’ll engage in discussion, learn about different forms of meditation, ten practical tools to enhance your practice, and most importantly, experience a calming sensory-based guided meditation to help you return to yourself. This isn’t just theory, it’s real-time self-care. OBJECTIVES: Participants will... • Differentiate Levels of Awareness: Identify and transition between different mental states, moving from scattered, surface-level thinking toward a grounded, intuitive presence. • Implement Practical Self-Regulation Tools: Master 10 specific, sensory-based mindfulness techniques designed to manage professional overwhelm and prevent burnout in real-time. • Bridge the Gap Between Theory and Practice: Shift from viewing mindfulness as a clinical recommendation for clients to adopting it as a lived, personal ritual for personal well-being.
