OVERVIEW: This presentation addresses emotional agility and post-traumatic growth, and its relevance for health care and education workers. Emotional agility is about holding space for emotions and thoughts loosely, facing them courageously and compassionately, and then moving past them to ignite change and growth in your life. This training offers participants strategies for leaning into their emotional state to become effective in working with others and their own emotional states. OBJECTIVES: Participants will... • Learn strategies for recognizing, accepting, and constructively responding to emotional states to foster growth and resilience. • Explore ways to support others by developing emotional agility and understanding the principles of post-traumatic growth in health care and education settings.
