[Video Transcript Brief] Hendrickson has pioneered a series of firsts that have inspired and changed the landscape of the commercial vehicle industry. Beginning in 1926 with the first walking beam tandem truck suspension, to 1996, when Hendrickson launched VANTRAAX, the first fully integrated 46K sliding air suspension system in the industry. Two years later, Hendrickson incorporated tapered beam technology that shed weight from VANTRAAX, resulting in the launch of VANTRAAX HKANT 40K, quickly followed by QUIK-DRAW, the industry's only fully pneumatic pin-pull mechanism. Next came the integration of ramp-ready sliders into the VANTRAAX family. 2001 marked the adoption of the Cam Tube System on VANTRAAX. This patented system helps extend cam life and reduce maintenance costs. Over the next few years, Hendrickson introduced a series of design changes to key components to further enhance the durability of VANTRAAX systems, including improvements to the TRI-FUNCTIONAL Bushing, SURELOK, and cast air spring pedestals, which replaced formed pedestals. In 2003, the VANTRAAX product line grew with the addition of Tridem sliders. One year later, Hendrickson pioneered the use of Large-Diameter Axles on VANTRAAX systems. Large-Diameter Axles trim weight compared to 5-inch axles, and increase bending and torsional stiffness for increased durability, greater roll stability, and reduced deflection under load. In 2005, the Wide-Spread 46K joined the VANTRAAX family, followed by the HKANT 23K single-axle slider. 2006 marked the availability of air disc brakes on VANTRAAX. And we rounded out the decade with the launch of Hendrickson's Extended-Life 7-year System. HXL7 wheel ends feature high-performance components and boast a 7-year limited warranty. HXL7 wheel ends are standard with Hendrickson's PRECISION320 spindle nuts. The new decade began with the large-diameter axle being incorporated into all HKAT wide-pivot connection models. Two years later, we introduced TIREMAXX PRO, an advanced automatic tire pressure control system for the trailer industry. TIREMAXX PRO equalizes tire pressures across all wheel positions. Next, we redesigned slider pins to reduce fatigue and improve service life for long-lasting, efficient performance. In 2013, HXL3 and HXL5 wheel ends joined the ready-to-roll family. Later that year, Hendrickson launched Zero-Maintenance Damping ride technology. This patent-pending and industry-exclusive technology made VANTRAAX HKANT 40K the industry's first and only shockless air suspension. The introduction of SMARTLIFT, Hendrickson's liftable VANTRAAX rounded out the year.
