A morning spent on top of the Terminal 1 multi storey car park on Saturday 24th March treated us to a great set of ground operations across the apron. Saturday is one of Manchester Airports busiest days and with summer quickly approaching, the volume of traffic is increasing day on day. The T1 car park overlooks the T1 & T2 apron where most of the heavy stands are. Mid morning is a particularly busy period for the airport with a high volume of long haul flights departing, in particularly the west bound flights. A350's, 787's, A330's, 747's are a common sight around midday.
