Neos recently got support for text only websockets. This video gives you an overview of how to use them to connect to an Echo server. An Echo Server, will respond back to any connected user with whatever that connected user sends them. Exactly like an echo. The Echo Server, we use is: ws://echo.websocket.org and you can read more about it here: http://websocket.org/echo.html it looks like it is owned by a company called Kaazing(kaazing.com). Thanks Kaazing! Mentioned in this video is the Twitch Functionality in Neos which works in a similar way to this but a lot more themed to Twitch of course.
