Education is the only sustainable way to change the world. Do you know there is a particular term for educating people about these issues? It is ESD- Education for Sustainable Development. ESD is a well-established framework to shift to a sustainable future. It empowers learners with knowledge, skills and values, and attitude to make informed decisions and take responsible actions for environmental integrity, economic viability, and a just society. As a mentee in ESD Leadership program run by the ESD Expert Net & Engagement Global from Germany and Bharti Vidyapeeth Institute of Environment Education and Research (BVIEER), Pune India, I worked on a project which try to impart ESD through Livelihoods skills training.
