13th Annual PANDAS Single-Channel & Retro R/C Event 2025

Brilliant, scorching sunshine and a gentle breeze this year, perfect! Possibly because its really been too hot to travel, the event was slightly down on numbers but less hectic, more relaxed and all the more enjoyable for it. Fewer single-channellers and only myself on reeds this year but the thermals gave us wildly varying windspeeds and directions causing a bit of a struggle for S/C :-) I managed 10 paces in the Single-Channel spot landing, near but not near enough! All the usual suspects were present & correct, thank you all for making the (in many cases long) journey to Ponty and thank you to all the helpers who make it possible! :-) Sorry its 20 minutes in total, I took a lot more pics & video this year. Excuse the audio-bombing, it was a busy flightline! Cheers - Phil
