With the amendment of Section 111A and removal of Section 114, any single co-owner can demand partition of joint property without taking permission from others. Revenue Officers now have suo motu powers to issue notices and complete partition even if other parties disagree. This means joint property will no longer remain trapped. The government has also introduced ADR and mediation camps to resolve disputes faster, along with financial incentives for mutual settlement. This reform will increase clear-title properties, improve market liquidity, reduce land mafia interference, and boost real estate value in rural and urban Haryana.
