This has been an incredibly good Sudoku experience so far, and is one of the only Sudoku games on Steam that actually has features that fight against brute-forcing. Well, I thought I did, but it turns out that when playing the Chaos Trial for the first time, it seems to put you on the Easy difficulty. I only found that out after checking the Codex and seeing my run history didn't quite line up with my expectations. So anyway, the big catch is that boards are now much harder to solve and relies on gimmicks switching occasionally to solve certain cells. On the upside, you're rewarded much more handsomely for solving a full board, so you don't need to solve as many.
