I had just finished a job and on the way home i instantly noticed this house standing out among a street of well maintained properties. So order had to be restored and we checked with the neighbours what the story was. It turns out it had been abandoned for over 30 years!!! There was also a squatter staying at the house and as i was setting up the camera i stumbled into him on the way out and we gave each other a fright. It was a harmless interaction although the neighbours mentioned they were not very comfortable with the situation of him coming and going! I feel bad for both parties involved as it is not a very easy situation to deal with!! So the least i could do was get the place cleaned up! The grass was extremely tall and required 2 mows to get it looking up to my standards!! Then we made the footpath out the front look like something people can walk over again! It was beginning to disappear under the weeds! the driveway almost killed my Stihl whipper snipper but after about 20 metres of line the job was finished!! Just making sure first i blew all the dust/leaves back onto the freshly mowed lawn (very good for nutrients) Thank you to everyone for the support, i appreciate all your comments so much and look forward to the next one!!
