It follows a fading celebrity, Elisabeth Sparkle (Demi Moore) who, after being fired by her producer (Dennis Quaid) due to her age, uses a mysterious substance that creates a much younger version of herself (Margaret Qualley) with unexpected side effects. This incredible film tackled some very interesting themes in such a bold way. It combined some gnarly body horror while using the female perspective to explore aging and how the media industry has had such a massive impact on beauty standards.
