OPENING WEEKEND! Lime Ricky World arcade tour (Wildwood NJ), new March 2025 full 4K walkthrough

It's March, but I'm itching for some Jersey Shore action! Good thing I'm not alone in this regard. This past Sunday I made the drive down the Garden State Parkway to make my first Wildwood pilgrimage of the year. Not a whole lot is open on the boardwalk just yet, but for Lime Ricky World, the ice cream parlor, soda shop, and redemption arcade near Mariner's Pier, they're more than happy to get the season started a little bit early. Their first day open for 2025 was Friday the 14th, and although I couldn't make it out then, I definitely wanted to come check them out at some point over the weekend because I didn't get a chance to stop in during last year's summer visit. And I'm definitely happy that I did! Like many of the beach boardwalk arcades, this place primarily focuses on claw machines and redemption games, but they also have a selection of "just for fun" games as well, including stuff like Godzilla Kaiju Wars VR, the new 2 player stand-up version of Halo Fireteam Raven, and Fast & Furious Arcade. There's even a Multicade in a classic Ms. Pac-Man cabinet off on one side to scratch all those retro game itches. The redemption games are a good mix of traditional favorites and modern coin pushers, and I don't know if it was just because it was opening weekend, but the payouts were really generous. We hit a few of them across about four or five of the games, and my son walked out with an armful of prizes, including a brand new official Eagles hat from New Era! (Go Birds!) Although it's not nearly as large as some of its neighbors up and down the boardwalk, Lime Ricky World definitely has a lot of charm, and an owner who clearly cares about making sure his customers have a good time and get good value for the money they spend.
