These crunchy chicken pakoras are made with tender chicken pieces coated in a flavorful besan (gram flour) batter 🌾 and aromatic spices 🌶️, then deep fried until golden and crispy 🔥. This easy chicken pakora recipe is quick to prepare and loved by everyone. Serve it hot with mint chutney 🌿, imli chutney 🍯, or ketchup 🍅 for the best taste. Perfect for snack lovers and street-food style cravings 😍. Try this simple homemade recipe and enjoy restaurant-style crispy chicken pakoras at home! Ingredients Chicken (boneless) – ½ kg (washed) Oil – 1 liter Roasted and crushed Coriander seeds – 3 tsp Ginger, Garlic and Green Chilies paste (3G paste) – 3 tbs Ajwain – 1 tsp White cumin seeds (whole) – 2 tsp Turmeric Powder – 1 tsp Red chilies Powder – 1 tsp Kasoori Methe (fenugreek leaves) – 2 tsp Salt – 2 tsp Baking powder- ½ tsp Lemon juice – 2 tbs Onions- 1 (finely sliced) Green chilies – 2 (finely chopped) Besan – 1 ½ cup (375 ml) Rice Flour – 4 tbs Coriander leaves- 1 small bowl (handful) Recipe Take the boneless chicken in a bowl and add 1 tsp salt to it. Then add lemon juice and Ginger, Garlic with Green chilies paste (3G paste) into the bowl. Then add roasted and crushed coriander seeds, ajwain, white cumin seeds (whole), turmeric powder, red chilies powder, and salt into the bowl and mix as shown in the video. Then add fenugreek leaves into the bowl and mix. Then add finely chopped green chilies and mix. Then add finely chopped onions and coriander leaves into the bowl and mix. Then add rice flour into the bowl and mix. Then add 1 cup besan in the bowl and now start mixing with hand by adding water a little as shown in video to coat the chicken pieces well and evenly. Then add another ½ cup of besan into the bowl with a little water and mix. Then add baking powder with a little water again and mix. Also add a little water in the end and combine the batter with chicken thoroughly by mixing rigorously with hand as shown in video. You can now see the whole chicken pieces well coated. Now on medium to high flame put a pot. Then add oil to heat . When it’s hot start putting the boneless chicken pieces coated with pakora batter one by one into the hot oil for it to deep fry. This will also cook the chicken from within. The chicken pieces should be added in batches to fully get cooked and fried. Take them out initially in something to drain of the access oil. Then transfer to a serving dish to serve and enjoy. The yummy chicken pakoras are ready to eat.
