With the theme "Igwebuike" (Strength in Unity), the gathering brought together sons and daughters of Onitsha living in Lagos, joined by dignitaries and cultural icons from the homeland most notably the Igwe of Onitsha, His Majesty Obi Nnaemeka Alfred Achebe (Agbogidi). ✨ A grand reception was held in honor of the Igwe’s presence, and his thought-provoking speech on the state and future of Onitsha stood out as one of the most impactful moments of the day.
