When we look at CX champion organisations around the world, the one behaviour they all share in common is a culture of happy staff. We know that happy staff are contagious and create loyal, happy customers. Organisations large and small, are shifting towards an ‘employee first’ approach and reaping benefits linked to remarkable CX delivery and in turn, business growth. Empowering staff is considered the most innovative CX approach from today’s consumers, particularly when staff are empowered to resolve issues in a human and consistent way. In fact, employee experience (EX) is now considered by many as the new CX strategy. However, it’s not just a focus on a small number of key employees, it’s a deeper ‘internal team’ focus that binds CX excellence from within. Those organisations whose culture supports this approach are gaining significant commercial wins. The CX Academy were delighted to welcome Dr Brian Slattery, CEO and Co-Founder of Wrky (www.wrky.com), a data and behavioural science platform that provides insights and actions across employee-related platforms with a unified view. Previously to this Brian was a tenured lecturer in Psychological Science at Dublin City University.
