Hi everyone! In this video, I explore the city of Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is known for its natural beauty and impressive architecture, specifically the Stari Most (or Old Bridge) that spans the Neretva River. However, once you explore the city away from the tourist areas, you will see and experience things that makes you think deeply about the city and what it has been through. Join me as we explore this incredible city! The vlog starts at the Stari Most, where I explain the history and the fact that the bridge was destroyed in the Bosnian War and had to be rebuilt. I then explore some parts of the Old Town before stopping for lunch at a local restaurant. I continue to explore the Old Town and walk past several markets and another impressive bridge with its own story to tell. I venture towards the city centre where I observe various elements of life in Mostar. I pass a mosque in the city and its adjacent cemetery, and also walk towards a church on the other side of town. I talk more about my impressions of the city along the way. I arrive at my hostel where I give a short tour of my room. The vlog ends where it started, but this time at night - at the iconic Stari Most, the symbol of the city. This is also the end of my Bosnia and Herzegovina series. For fun and games: I included some "double" takes somewhere in the video, where I repeat the narrative in consecutive frames - see if you can spot it! :) I hope you enjoy this video on Mostar!
