I got an Insta360 Ace Pro. This is the first of many cameras I plan to get in order as I expand this channel. I’m starting to reach my limitations with recording YouTube videos with only my iPhone. This camera won’t replace my iPhone for most videos, but it will come in handy for many types of videos in the future. There’s a few drawbacks to this camera, most notably you need a smartphone app to set it up, which requires 2 gigabytes of storage spaces and uses 4 currently on my phone. I was planning on just transferring files by plugging the microSD card into a computer but the app does come in handy. Also the microphone is not super great, it sounds a lot like the iPhone’s which is super terrible, but that was expected. But the nice things about having a dedicated camera is you can still have your smartphone free for other things or as another camera, you also have separate storage so your phones space does not fill up and can replace the microSD card and the battery. Thankfully this has a user removable battery on the right side, which can replaced in order to get a longer recording time, and to keep the camera from going to waste if you don’t have the money or skills to replace a sealed battery such as the one in an modern smartphone.
