Ranked as one of Norway's foremost nature-based destinations it is also one of the world's most spectacular viewpoint rated by Lonely Planet and CNN. This 8-kilometer moderate hike takes about 4-5 hours (round trip) and the trail which has significant shifts in terrain includes swampland, forests, and stone stairways. Also this already famous hike was made even more famous after its use in the movie Mission Impossible – Fallout. Between 2013 and 2018 sherpas who as a rule of thumb can carry their own bodyweight were flown in from Nepal to improve the hiking trail. They have put down hand-crafted granite stone steps to make for an easier and safer hike. Stavanger is a port city and municipality in Rogaland County on the southwestern coast of Norway. It's the best place to stay for those who wish to hike to Preikestolen. We booked bus tickets (to and fro) from Stavanger to Pulpit rock base camp which is one of the cheapest modes of transportation. The one way journey takes approximately 1 hour and goes through the Ryfylke Tunnel which is the longest and deepest (291 meters) undersea road tunnel in the world. IMPORTANT : 📌Beyond the base camp there are no shops so carry your own food and water. 📌This hike requires good shoes and clothing. 📌Check weather forecast as cloudy/rainy day will disrupt the views. 📌Pulpit Rock has no railings around it and poses a natural beauty and an element of risk. 👉 Hiking can reduce the risk of various health issues such as : ✅Heart Disease ✅Hypertension ✅Diabetes ✅Obesity ✅Anxiety ✅Osteoporosis and Arthritis So hike more and worry less 😃 ⚠️ All rights to the video and photos belong to NATURE'S DOSE.
