The Return of Osprey to Pego Oliva Marshlands, Spain - site reconnaissance

Thrilled to be commissioned by Redwing Ecological Surveys Ltd for the production of a short documentary about the translocation of Osprey from the Highlands of Scotland to Pego Oliva Marsh, Valencia, Spain. This is an ambient short from the inaugural trip to predominantly reccy the site(s) involved and meet the main project staff - utimately the storytellers. Highlights were the vast rice fields creating mirror reflections of burnt sunsets and close encounters with the over-wintering 100+ glossy Ibis. Osprey reintroduction project in the Valencia Region of Spain, directed by the Wildlife Service of the Generalitat Valenciana in the Pego Oliva Marsh Natural Park, in collaboration with Fundación Migres, Fundación Iberdrola, Redwing Ecological Surveys Ltd and Roy Dennis Wildlife Foundation.
