We can often spend countless hours programming and endlessly tweaking, but nothing compares to the moment when the first downbeat hits and the musicians breathe their experience, passion, and life into the notes. However, recording sessions can be quite expensive, it takes experience to know how to handle one, and they are often quite secretive. Videos available online, including my own, are often polished and well-edited, and may not give the full picture. This is why we will be lifting the curtain and giving you the raw experience! I have booked a Remote Shared Session with the Budapest Art Orchestra and will stream the entire session live on YouTube, joined by my good friend Federico Solazzo, who orchestrated the piece. This way, you will experience first-hand what such a session is like. From call setup and communication with the conductor to notes and comments between takes, to handling overdubs and punch-ins. And, of course, the music! This stream is for those of you who are: Looking to book your first session, but hesitant because you may not know what it looks like, and you don't want to encounter any surprises. Gamedevs, filmmakers (and composers as well), who may be on the fence about whether recording the music live is worth the expense.
