Fraser Guitars calls this model "Vintage Series Sunburst Medium Relic Ash ‘60s S-Style". I documented my journey of testing and choosing a new set of pickups for this guitar. I think the stock ones are great, but my preferences for tone lead me to wanna try out some sets I knew was more in the ballpark of what I usually fall for. The sets on display here are: • Fraser Guitars stock set for the guitar: Hand-Wound Alnico 5 '60s S-Style • Radioshop Pickups: ID:Chris Buck and ID:63GT • Evil Sheep Guitar Pickups: S-Type '59/63 Enamel and S-Type '63/Formvar The amp used is my faithful clone of a 50W Dumble/Fuchs ODS played through an Eminence Cannabis Rex 12" speaker. Effects used are Mad Professor Sweet Honey Overdrive, Neunaber Wet Reverb, Mad Professor Deep Blue Delay (Slap back), Strymon El Capistan dTape echo.
