First Red Rocks Trip! Under the Boardwalk (5.11a), Sand Buckets (5.11b), Black Corridor #4 (5.11a)

Spent two days in Red Rocks for the first time with my friends Ru (‪@ruesworkoutchannel8209‬) and Diana. We camped out of town and met my buddy Travis (‪@tdludes‬) who kindly showed us around. On Day 1 we started at the Pier. Travis hung the draws on Under the Boardwalk (5.11a). I flashed it afterwards and then Ru jumped on it. I struggled on the 5.12b next door, Cling Free, while Travis worked Geometric Progression. Then we headed to The Wake Up Wall, where I one-hung Good Morning. I think it'll go the next time I attempt. I was still exhausted from attempting the moves on Cling Free earlier in the day. Day 2 we went to the Black Corridor Lower Level where I sent the slab climb Black Corridor #4 (5.11a) after a few attempts. I hopped on a few more 10+'s and 11s while Travis sent two 5.12s in the corridor. In the afternoon, we moved to the Sandbox, where Travis worked the moves on Sandblaster. Ru hung the draws on Sand Buckets (5.11b) while I belayed Travis. At the end of the day I onsighted Sand Buckets, my first 5.11b onsight*, which I was super stoked about! All in all, this was a lovely weekend in Red Rocks with a sweet group of people. Thanks to Travis, Ru, Diana, and everyone we met for making the experience special. Also, I heard Ru say the words, "nice kneebar" while she was climbing it. However, I did not get any beta about the moves, nor did I watch anyone climb it, so I'm counting it.
