EPIC-WE Capacity Building Series Workshop #5: Policy-Making in Cultural and Creative Industries 📅 Recorded on 7 February 2025 The EPIC-WE capacity building series continued with a workshop exploring policy-making in the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs) and the role of policy in supporting innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaboration in the sector. In this session, participants were introduced to key approaches to policy-making in CCIs and gained insights into the EPIC-WE policy briefs and their contribution to shaping supportive frameworks for cultural and creative ecosystems. The workshop concluded with an open discussion and exchange with participants. Speakers Luc Schmerber Thematic Expert for a Smarter Europe at the Interreg Europe Policy Learning Platform, working on the design of business support ecosystems for regional public authorities and business support organisations, with a focus on entrepreneurship and cluster organisations. He also has experience working directly with SMEs to improve competitiveness. Rasmus Wiinstedt Tscherning Founder and Managing Director of Creative Business Network, leading a global initiative that connects, supports, and empowers entrepreneurs, innovators, and investors from the creative industries.
