Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano recently had a menu makeover! This Italian table service restaurant is located at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Muppet's Courtyard. The interior architecture and decor help to tell the story of Mama Melrose. A woman who moved to Hollywood with big dreams but instead ended up serving big appetites. The walls are adorned with photographs of famed Hollywood stars that dined in the same seats Walt Disney World patrons now occupy. In the past, we've raved about the atmosphere and ambiance but felt the cuisine left something to be desired. We've compared the food to Olive Garden and while this restaurant does have a cult following, are experiences were mixed. When we heard Mama changed up her menu we felt inclined to stop by and see how her new cuisine compares to some of the great Walt Disney World Italian Restaurants we've dined at.
