Make homemade bread in 1.5 hours with a crockpot and a few basic ingredients 3 Cups Bread Flour 1pkg dry yeast 1 tbsp sugar 1 cup warm water (100 degrees) 1 tsp salt Preheat Your Crock Pot On High. ( I have a 6 quart) Line crockpot with parchment paper allowing paper to come up on the sides. ( this allows for easy removal of the bread when it is done cooking) Measure Bread Flour into a large mixing bowl Mix warm water, dry yeast, and sugar. Allow liquid mixture to sit for 10 Minutes - It should become foamy (if not the yeast may not be good and you will need to try again) Add the liquid 1/3 at a time to the flour, mixing with your hand. If the dough becomes too sticky add a little water to your hands and continue mixing. Last, add the 1 tsp salt and incorporate well. Shape dough and add to the crockpot. Cover tightly with crockpot lid Check the bread at 1 hour and every 15 minutes thereafter, especially the bottom of bread as this will brown quicker and you do not want the bottom to burn. (note: the top will remain fairly light.) The bread needs to reach an internal temperature of 190 degrees to 200 degrees. When done remove the bread from the crockpot. You can run the bread under a broiler for a few minutes to darken the top of the bread. Now you have made NO KNEAD, NO RISE CROCK POT BREAD! ENJOY!!
