Tonight’s Classic Canadian Monday 🇨🇦Takes me back to my Record Store Days. At Sam The Record Man in the ’80s, there wasn’t a day that we didn’t find an album by the Grapes Of Wrath on the turntable. In the ’90s at HMV, we got a lot of mileage out of a band called Ginger. I recently had the privilege of having a conversation with the incredibly talented co-founder of both those bands, Tom Hooper. Starting off in Kelowna, B.C together with his brother Chris Hooper, Vincent Jones, and Kevin Kane, The Grapes Of Wrath ruled Canada’s music scene with classics like “What Was Going Through My Head”, “I Am Here”, “Backwards Town” and “All The Things I Wasn’t”.... We talked with Tom about the Grapes journey, history, and future. So click on the link and head to YouTube to have a watch and remember, while you're there to subscribe and support The Record Player ... Grapes Of Wrath’s Tom Hooper is the focus of tonight’s Classic 🇨🇦 Canadian Monday Night.
