Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have arrested a 62-year-old Lagos-based businessman at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA) in Kano over an attempted drug trafficking operation. The suspect was apprehended while preparing to board a flight to China. A subsequent investigation revealed that he had ingested 95 jumbo-sized wraps of cocaine, concealed in his stomach in an attempt to evade detection.
