Nachdem ich Euch vor Kurzem die Palastruine von Gross Mohnau gezeigt habe, geht es im heutigen Film um das sog. „Schloss Berghof“ in Klein Mohnau. Die Orte liegen knapp 10 km auseinander. In der näheren Umgebung befinden sich noch weitere Palastruinen, wie z.B. die der Familie Korn, was einen Besuch in dieser Umgebung sehr interessant macht. Jedenfalls für ALLE, die an solchen Lost Places interesse haben. In the second half of the 19th century, it was rebuilt in the Neoclassical style. The entire building, including the tower, was raised by a full story, which also restructured the building's facade. However, the Baroque columned entrance portal from 1750 has been preserved. Towards the end of the war in 1945, the palace was unfortunately damaged. No attempts were made to repair or rebuild it afterward. Today, only the outer walls, the beautiful entrance portal, and some stucco decorations and wall paintings in the "interior" remain. ____________ VLOG – P 008
