Today we're going to be taking a look at part number IMF17635. This is the BoatBuckle Pro Series Kwik-Lok Gunwale Tie-Down Strap. The heavy duty strap is firmly going to secure your boat's gunwale to your trailer. The buckle is going to have the SUR-Grip rubber-coated Kwik-Lok system - very easy to grip and control with one hand. That's one of the unique features about the Kwik-Lok Gunwale Tie-Down Strap. The material that they used for the strap itself is going to be seat belt-quality polyester webbing. It's also going to feature the Hi-Vis protective PVC pad that goes under the buckle. It's going to be this right here. You see how that's a little bit thicker than your regular strap That's going to protect the finish on your boat, making sure that the buckle doesn't cause any damage by scratching or making abrasions or anything like that. Here on the hooks, each hook is going to be a vinyl-coated, for that same reason. It's just designed to protect the finish on your boat. Then each hook is going to feature the keeper. That's just designed to keep things from being able to disconnect. The patch or the strap that goes over the buckle, it has night eyes technology. What that means is that the buckle is designed to reflect light, which is going to add to your safety at night time. It's also going to feature the built-in closure that stores the extra strap. All you've got to do is simply use the hook and loop system. Really nice buckle. Again, very strong and very durable with that seat belt-quality polyester webbing. The strap dimension, it's going to give us an overall width of 2 inches wide and an overall length of 13 feet. The maximum load or break strength is going to be 1,200 pounds. The safe working load limit is 400 pounds. With this part number, you're going to get 1 of these straps. The way it works is you simply load your boat onto the frame of your trailer, open up the buckle here, connect the bottom S-hook to the side of your trailer frame. Then you can connect the top S-hook to an anchor point on the gunwale of your boat. You want to loop the strap through the buckle and then make sure it's tied or set however you want it. Then you can just push down the buckle or turn the buckle down to tighten the strap. Then you'll also need to secure the opposite gunwale with another strap. Again, another strap is going to be sold separately. This part number only comes with one strap. Also, keep in mind that gunwale tie-downs should always be used with a winch strap and a set of transom or stern or bow tie-downs. All straps and cables should be chosen according to their safe working load limit. That's going to do it for our review of part number IMF17635. This is the BoatBuckle Pro Series Kwik-Lok, 13-foot Gunwale Tie-Down Strap. .
