Knitting Mini Projects/Stash Busting - Quick and Easy Knitting Projects For Beginners

In this video I am knitting some quick and easy projects - except for one project which took me a long time to do because I wasn't enjoying knitting it. I made a pair of leg warmers, a pair of fingerless gloves, a faux fur cross body bag, and a scarf. I am a beginner and a slow knitter, and the bag and fingerless gloves were able to finish in a day only. I did the leg warmers over a few days, and the scarf I knitted up on and off over 4 months!! I really didn't enjoy knitting all the same colour for that scarf, and I really think if I had been making it for myself, I would have given up. It was only the fact that this was a project I was knitting for my husband that kept me powering through. Other than the scarf, the other projects were fun to make, and I only used yarn that I already have in my stash. I try to get yarn really cheap where I can, if I see yarn on sale or in the thrift store I try and pick it up where I can, even if I don't have a project in mind. Yarn can be very expensive, especially if you are knitting up a big project, or you and buying hand dyed yarn. I was really happy with how this projects turned out, even the scarf in the end. Actually my favourite was probably the scarf at the end. I would definitely make these projects again, and use the lessons I have learned making them the first time to do them even better.
