Knitting a Mrs Weasley Jumper For My Sister - Harry Potter Knitting Magic

I actually filmed this video in March this year as my sisters birthday was in April, but I have just not had a chance to edit the footage until now! Looking back on this I still can't believe how quick this was to knit up, and I think that was because I was using aran weight yarn rather than the usual DK that I would use for my knitting projects. I was so happy with how this jumper turned out. I really thought throughout that the neck hole was going to be too small but I am so glad that I just trusted the process and finished it, because it did fit in the end no problem. I do normally cast off quite loosely so I was not worried that once I added the ribbing it would make it smaller. I knew my ribbing would be fine but I thought that the whole could already be too small. It turned out to be perfect though :) I really enjoyed making this project and I can't wait to make a jumper like this for myself. I will likely use the pattern for this jumper to make other jumpers that are not Harry Potter related because I know its a pattern that works and I know know I can always make adjustments here and there to cater to my own style if needed. I can't wait to knit some more Harry Potter projects this year and I really hope that you enjoy watching these as much as I enjoy making them because I would like to make so many things from this knitting book.
