Knitting 7 Horcruxes Washcloths - Harry Potter Knitting Magic

I have been having fun making projects from the Harry Potter Knitting Magic book. I was looking forward to making these washcloths as I thought that they likely wouldn't take too much time to make, and I had not really worked with cotton yarn before for knitting. This is the first project where I have had to use knitting a purl stitch to create an image onto something and I really enjoyed it. I love how they have turned out and the pattern was quite easy to follow as long as you are paying attention. There were a few occasions where I was distracted and meant that I skipped a row and had to undo it, but for the most part these were very easy to knit up. My favourite finished washcloths are Harry, and the Diadem.I think the diadem probably looked the worst before it was blocked but once you could see the proper design, it looks very nice. This is also my first project that I had to use water to block it, and before doing this, I wouldn't really have known the impact that blocking can have on a finished project. I don't currently use ravelry but I believe that you can buy this pattern also from there. If anyone tries this pattern out, or has already done it, please let me know how it went, and if you would do it again. One thing I am most excited to make, but don't yet have the skill, is the Luna Lovegood's Spectrespecs Gloves. They look so amazing, but so complex to make.
