These Upper Structure Chords are important, if you want to play chord melody or spice up your rhythm comping with some nice Chord Fills Jazz Guitar. We'll have a major group guitar chord on each of the seven tones of the c major scale, except the 4th. That's the so called avoid note, which we can't biuld a major chord up upon. I'll show you exercises to practice these upper sructure chords on guitar and get fluent. This will enable you to have a chord ready for every possible chord melody situation. You'll also learn how to apply cool rhythms, so you can create your own Major Chord Fills jazz guitar. I'll put the C major jazz guitar chords diagrams on screen.
