Dobbie was diagnosed with epilepsy on April 6th 2018, just 2 months after owning him. We are unsure of his age but are estimating it to be between 2 & 4 years old as he has a ‘young mouth’. He was having cluster seizures from the start of his diagnosis. Originally he was was on Pexion 400mg twice a day and for 2 weeks he was fine and had no seizures but started clustering again on the 29th April. He was started on 60mg of Phenobarbital twice a day on the 30th April 2018 and after this seizure, he was hospitalised for 24 hours in the veterinary clinic who sedated him to ‘reset’ his brain and let it rest. His dosage was upped to 90mg Pheno twice a day (2nd May 2018).
