Daaamn my hair is looking rough these days! I gotta figure out a way to cut this mop! This cocktail is part of a new series I'm calling Adventures In The Drink Trade! all about pairing crazy flavor combinations which you may not know pair well together or selecting strange cocktails from historic cocktail books and trying them to spec. This drink is an original inspired by a cocktail I came across in Jerry Thomas' Bon Vivant's Companion which was a simple mixture of Gin and Peach liqueur. I wanted to twist that into something using surprising flavors so I added Orgeat (Almond) and infused the Gin with Dill growing in my garden and the rest is history as they say. I totally stole the cocktail name though. Came across it on the Barsys App for another drink and honestly fits the theme of this drink so well I couldn't help myself. Plus the Barsys one was a strange combo of Vanilla Vodka, Apple Brandy and Passion fruit Syrup....I think the name deserves a better drink than that no? 0:00 Intro 0:10 Not Subscribed?? 0:35 R.D.F.
