Narrating the story of Samaj Pragati Sahyog, the talk highlights the two parts a country like India has. The talk takes the audience through the harsh realities of one part which doesn’t get due heed. Through the powerful example of how Samaj Pragati Sahyog has worked towards filling this gap, the talk presents a take on the need for a strong set of partnerships of a very large and diverse kind to make BIG CHANGE happen in India. A former member of the Planning Commission of India, Dr. Mihir Shah is also the co-founder of Samaj Pragati Sahyog, a large and successful grassroots non-government organization. Apart from his countless accomplishments, he is also been a very beloved professor at Ashoka University teaching the Young India Fellows year on year and inspiring them to create social impact.
