Our First Trip to the Hills | Lansdowne Uttarakhand Travel Vlog | Pure Peaceful Escape

This was our first trip into the hills, and we chose Lansdowne, Uttarakhand for its calm, silence, and untouched beauty. 🌄 Away from city noise and crowded hill stations, Lansdowne welcomed us with fresh mountain air, pine forests, and peaceful cantonment vibes. The road journey itself was mostly smooth and scenic. We started early, crossed multiple toll plazas on the way, and enjoyed well-maintained highways for most of the route. However, after crossing Khatauli, the road conditions weren’t very good in some patches, so a little patience and careful driving were needed. Toll charges were reasonable, and the drive became more beautiful as we entered Uttarakhand — greenery and misty views slowly replacing city chaos. Lansdowne is famous for its serenity, British-era cantonment charm, pine and oak forests, misty mornings, and stunning viewpoints. Unlike commercial hill stations, it’s quiet, clean, and perfect for travellers who want nature, silence, and slow travel. Peaceful sunset points make Lansdowne ideal for a relaxed getaway. On the first day, we decided to stay at the hotel itself, as the hotel view was so scenic and beautiful that it felt like an experience on its own. Surrounded by hills and calm vibes, we chose to relax and soak in the view, saving the exploration of Lansdowne for the next day. After a long day of travel, we were completely exhausted. Post dinner, we called it an early night — letting the hills do their magic. This vlog captures the journey, the calm roads, and the peaceful start of our Lansdowne experience.
