Here I am presenting you a little view from the Tahia Misr Axis and the Tahia Misr Bridge. The Bridge claims new record for widest cable-stayed bridge. To achieve the record, engineers had to build something wider than the 65-m-wide Port Mann Bridge in Canada. This was achieved with the Tahya Misr measuring 67.3 m (220 ft 9.6 in). Tahia Misr Bridge, former name Rod el Farag Bridge, is a cable-stayed bridge over the Nile river located in the region of Rod El Farag crossing through Cairo, Egypt. It was built by the Arab Contractors. Because of its location, the bridge has become a major tourist attraction in Cairo, where visitors can cross the side pedestrian passageways which have panoramic views of the banks of the Nile and a glass flooring see-through walkway where visitors can walk over the Nile.
