In this video I restore a severely damaged 1956 Bosch horn from a vintage VW Beetle. This horn had rust holes, seized bolts, broken terminals, and a badly corroded mounting bracket. I remove the original tag, SCREEN PRINTED a new Bosch badge, fabricated new brass terminals on the mill, weld nuts onto broken bolts, chemically remove rust with Evapo-Rust, and repaired the housing with brazing. The final result is a fully working 1950s VW horn restored for a classic Beetle barn find. #VWRestoration #VintageVW #BeetleRestoration #BoschHorn ---------- 00:00 – Disassembly – Taking the 1956 VW Bosch horn apart to see what we’re dealing with. 04:24 – Removing Mounting Nuts – Tackling the seized bolts with welding and lubrication. 08:44 – Milling New Terminals – Fabricating and fitting replacement brass terminals. 15:06 – Screen Printing the Badge – Recreating the original Bosch logo for a factory look. 18:44 – Brazing Rust Holes – Repairing severe rust damage in the horn housing. 24:05 – Assembly – Putting all components back together carefully. 35:48 – Testing – Bench testing at 6 volts to make sure it works. 36:34 – Final Product – The restored horn with new badge, terminals, and fully functional sound. ---------- Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?...
