Thanks to Suckerman7 GM for the name of this level, and for suggesting the music. Two months later and the next level is done... I'd say it's been a while, but I'd be repeating myself. Fortunately, with my exams done and the best part of a month with little else to do, progress should be much faster now. Anyway, the original 3-4 was certainly not the worst level I've made... but it was too long, a bit too hard, looked pretty generic, and had softlocks everywhere where the dynamite would despawn if you went offscreen, so I thought a redesign was in order. As far as I know, that softlock doesn't happen in the new 3-4 (half of my testing was just trying to make the dynamite despawn), and I'd say it's a huge improvement overall. The gimmick - dynamite you can blow up with the Red Yoshi's fireballs - is still more or less the same, but I'd say I've used it much better this time, especially in the second section, where the dynamite and exploding blocks are actually used for platforming instead of just being an obstacle like they used to be. The yellow dynamite is just a block, not an SMB2 bomb with infinite(ish) explosion time like the regular red dynamite (it used to also be an SMB2 bomb, but that messed up the chain explosions when they blew up). Much less annoying than the minecarts in the original if you ask me, which wouldn't work now anyway because that'd just repeat 2-4. Do leave a comment if there's anything you want to say. If you don't like this level, don't be afraid to say it. Constructive criticism is greatly appreciated.
