Instead of forcing a half-awake performance, I chose sleep… and found one of the coolest new race formats on Zwift — a 4 race omnium by ZWB. Format: • 6km Individual Time Trial • 6km Fastest-Through-Segment sprint race (recover between efforts, only sprint points count) • 14km Hilly Scratch Race with 5 VO2 climbs • 15km Punchy Points Race to finish 60 minutes of racing condensed into 12. This one was perfect for where I’m at right now — VO2 efforts, repeated climbs, and sprint work under fatigue. Exactly the kind of stimulus I’m targeting in this next phase.
