After spotting a holiday chalet for sale for just £5,000, I had to take a closer look. On paper, this chalet sounds incredible — sea views, a cliff-top location, and one of the cheapest properties on the Isle of Wight. But as always, there’s more to the story than the headline price. In this drone video, I take a look at the current state of cliff erosion around Linstone Chine and the Cliff End area, showing exactly what’s happening to the coastline and how it’s affecting nearby properties. It’s a real shame to see erosion impacting such a beautiful part of the Isle of Wight — but it does raise an interesting question… 👉 Would £5,000 be a bargain if it lasts a few more years, or is it simply too much of a gamble?
