TO YOU I LEAVE BEHIND - Dedicated to those who are mourning the loss of a loved one. To you that I leave behind. Don't mourn my death. Celebrate the life I lived, the special times we had together. I treasured the moments we shared. Remember our good times. It would give me pleasure if those never leave you. I will continue to be with you if you wish, especially in times of need. I am alive even if only in your thoughts. Our relationship will continue to live and thrive there. I did some great things as well as some not so great things. I learned some lessons, but I didn't learn them all. Forgive me for times I hurt you. I wasn't perfect in any way. I gave it my all with what I had, and at times I didn't know better. If you're worried you ever hurt me, I have long forgiven you. We were imperfect human beings. When you are still and silent and want to hear me, you will hear me. You will feel me near. If you wish and it would serve you, write me. Write me everything you haven't said to me yet. Write me a note or a letter when you have something new to share and find the time. Write me as if i can hear you, and maybe I will. I just passed the threshold of this beautiful adventure of life to discover what is now beyond it. Don't wonder what it is until you get there. There's no way to know. I hope to see you there someday when your time comes. I love that thought. Our physical journey together has ended, but our spiritual one remains. This change can be unsettling, maybe deeply painful, but it is part of our inevitable journey, one we cannot argue with. What is life and death but beautiful mysteries, ones we know so little about. I trust and accept what's so and hope you will as well. If you wish to honor our bond and our relationship, Live this gift of life you have now. Live it fully. Forgive yourself, me, others, life, your universe, god, and repeat that every day. Be grateful for and dwell on what you have. Give more love than you will ever receive. It is free and sets you free. Dream large dreams and pursue them, express your passions loudly. Don't step over your values and trust life when fear knocks on your door. Thank you for all you've given me and for what you've done for me. I'm so grateful, grateful for you. I love you and always will. There's no final goodbye as I will be with you always, and you will be with me. If you know someone who would appreciate this message and this could comfort them.
